Set on a beautiful 100 acre property on New England Tablelands near Tenterfield, my off-grid glass workshop is surrounded by the wonders of nature.

I was fortunate enough to attend an intensive two day workshop with Jacqueline. Being a current ceramicist i wasn't sure what to expect from using a different medium. Jacqueline, with her patience, extensive knowledge, warmth and passion for the art of glass is nothing short of amazing. Jacqueline explained the process from the beginning to end and her ability to teach in a clear and easy to understand way meant i left very equipped (and tired :-)) with all the information i required. If you have ever thought about glass, have a love of glass or considered attending a workshop with Jacqueline then i highly recommend that you do so. Absolutely amazing!

Working with glass is amazing! In the 'Glass Slumping Workshop' I learnt to cut, smash, grind, oxy-torch and melt glass into a masterpiece. I created so many treasures in the workshop, that I had to return to do more. Jacqueline has an amazing talent in working with both glass and people, she encouraged each student to create glass jewelry and artworks that reflected our personality. We had 4 people in our class and each of us created something unique and beautiful. Do yourself a favour and sign up for a workshop- you will LOVE it!

What to do when I retired? Saw a Glass Slumping course advertised. Sounds interesting. I was hooked. teacher was fantastic. Explained everything so it was easy to understand and didn't take over what the participants were making. Jacqueline King is an excellent teacher and I'm a hooked 'glassie'. I can recommend if you want to do something creative and different.
